Do we need to bother thinking about it and is it important? Errm, yes!
With the stresses of modern life, of multitasking, work loads, peer pressures, rising prices, deadlines, social media and pollution, to names but a few, what if anything can we do? We can watch what we buy, watch what we eat, choose carefully where we live or the deodorant we use... But things aren't always that straight forward.
There are however more fundamental things we can do to help manage those stresses and the impact that they can have on us. One of the simplest but most important is breathing. More specifically, 'how we breathe'.
The way we breathe can affect body ph levels, digestion, stress relief, hormone balance, core activation, back and shoulder related pains, and a lot more. Just by doing what you already do. On average, we breathe 20-25,000 times a day! So surely it makes senses to learn how to do it well?
