Foundation movements and skills apply to EVERYONE and they form the bedrock for everything we do. From simply standing up and sitting down, to chopping down tree, painting a ceiling, doing a tough gym session or pulling out a lost welly boot from the mud while standing on one leg.
Moving or doing an exercise is not just a list of do's and don'ts, we must learn to 'feel' the movement, the stability. As long as we are safe, there are never really any rights or wrongs, just easier and harder, more or less efficient... Everyone benefits from learning these skills and just because they are foundations skills does not at all mean they are basic, unimportant or unnecessary.
