THE FOUNDATIONS FOR GOOD PHYSICAL HEALTH.

Updated: Feb 23, 2020

Are the foundations as complicated as they are often made out to be?

When we talk about physical health, what do we mean? Is it being skinny? Is it being lean with bulging muscles? Is it being able to run far or run fast, swim a mile or do 300 burpees? Yes! Well, yes and no. Can we look at movement and physical health in a way that goes far deeper? Perhaps if we want to 'get fit', before we go and sign ourselves up for a marathon, we should focus first and foremost on learning how to move, how to listen to our body and understand its capabilities.

There are simple principles that give us the basic foundation skills, to know how it 'feels' to move well, with stability, strength and control. Good movement foundations, that form the root for all other movements, are actually achievable by everyone, applicable to everyone, and can have a profound impact on the quality of our lives, helping us do some much more. Once learnt and understood, you will be able to apply these skills to everything you do, all the things you want to do. As well as to your work and to your daily life..
