MASTER THIS AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL FOLLOW

When we talk about improving physical fitness, our movement, stability, the ability to transfer load and power and the application of required tension, we can reel off hundreds, thousands of exercises. But, before any of those planks, press-ups, squats, and lunges, glute bridges and bench presses, its so so important that we learn 'how' to move. If you want to start with the best foundation possible, you have to start from at point where all stability should start. At the hips and the pelvis.

To be able to work towards mastering control of your pelvis, to know and understand how to load and hinge at the hips. This, in conjunction with good diaphragmatic breathing, should be seen as the 'bedrock' for all good movement, leading to a greater efficiency, stability and potential in the way you move, as well as giving you the best possible platform for all other movements, exercises and day to day tasks. It also forms an important reference point for us to evaluate and correct out physical posture, above and below our waist.

PELVIS IS KING!
